The phenomenon of cultural development of personality is reconsidered in terms of the transition from the classical model of its reflection to the non-classical one. The research methods include a comparative analysis, philosophical and historical, ontological, and hermeneutic approaches. The study highlights the attitudes in the classical model of understanding the cultural development of personality which stem from the rational subject’s tendency towards the external transformation of the world, the substitution of the substantive forms of activity for spiritual phenomena. The research shows that the non-classical model interprets the phenomenon of cultural development in line with the rejection of the priority of the rational origin, the fragmentation of images of the subject’s inner world, the exercise of its true existence. It is concluded that the personality’s existential structure is established as a cultural development practice through philosophical, artistic forms of self-realization. The author assumes that there is a need to develop methodological grounds for setting up new projects on the cultural development of personality and understanding the modes and levels of implementation from the perspective of post-non-classical philosophy.
