Cultural phenomenon in the context of the theory of activity

A new approach to comprehension of culture as an integrated phenomenon is suggested. A brief description of spiritual culture elements and a number of concepts are given. The authors single out three aspects of the realized human activity and analyze mechanism of their interaction. Five basic cognitive models of the subject are elaborated, subject contents of which are described by means of the utmost abstraction.
