Religion, science, art, politics, ideology, worldview have always been in complex interaction in the sociocultural space that resulted in the emergence of various contradictions. This article is devoted to considering the phenomenon of contradictions in culture in the works of the thinkers of the XVIIIth - beginning of the XXth centuries.
