The phenomenon of social loneliness in the city's crowd

The research discusses loneliness not as a single phenomenon but as a set of various factors affecting the psychological and moral state of a person in a crowd. Determining the causes of the emotional loneliness of the personality does not solve the social problem of human self-consciousness in a crowd. The purpose of the study is to reveal the facets of loneliness in terms of the social interaction of many people. Urban space and urban architecture are the main aspects in this regard. The study notes that different types of building and urban settlements have a direct impact on personality. The paper examines the origins of a positive attitude to the problem of loneliness in a crowd. The authors analyze ‘Going Solo: The Extraordinary Rise and Surprising Appeal of Living Alone’ by E. Klinenberg and other works updating the research subject. The study provides recommendations that can help improve the external environment to avoid loneliness.
