The phenomenon of "conscious parenthood": the views of children and parents

The paper studies the problems of becoming conscious of parenthood among young people. Young people thoughtlessly getting married and then tearing it doom their children to live in «partial» families. It affects their physical and psychological well-being, as well as intellectual development. The article raises the problems associated with the understanding of such phenomena as «conscious parenthood», which are components of the system of value orientations and parent plants, parental feelings, attitudes and positions, parental responsibility, etc. The results of research related to the study of the relationship of generations of children and parents to this phenomenon and the problems of its formation and development. The study sample included a variety of family, ie, respondents were children and their parents. The author focuses on the attitude of the respondents were from the early parenthood, the factors underlying the desire to have children, the understanding of "conscious parenthood" function of parents, family influence on the education of the future parents, the problem of psycho-pedagogical preparation of the future parents. The author examines the system of values and attitudes in young families; characterizes the orientation, relationships and attitudes of parents, evaluates their responsibility, its levels and the dynamics of development. This analyst is based on extensive empirical material. The paper draws conclusions regarding the functions of parenting in today's Russia, their psychological and educational readiness for parenthood as an activity-respect and social importance of the problem. Presented in the article the results of socio-pedagogical research allow identifying trends in the socio-processes among young people, which is of particular practical significance for adult education teachers. Knowledge of the real attitudes of children and their parents in relation to parenting allows building the strategy and tactics of the educational process for young people to form their conscious parenting. It should be noted the practical importance of the material articles for the teachers of the school and school education.
