The phenomenon of labor in non-classical socio-philosophical reflection

The article discusses the development of non-classical theories in social philosophy and the views of their representatives on the labor phenomenon. The author reveals the grounds for dividing classical socio-philosophical reflection from non-classical, also highlighting the chronological and methodological criteria for such a distinction. It is emphasized that the differences are due not only to the opposition of the socialist and capitalist economic systems, but also to the evolution of the latter during the period of late post-industrialism. A new concept of cognitive capitalism is analyzed, the main product of which is no longer goods, but knowledge, so the processes of alienation of labor take new forms. The transformation of the understanding of the labor phenomenon itself in the non-classical social philosophy, in which the concept of its humanization occupies a special place, is represented. The problem of the rationality of labor in a consumer society and the work ethic in today's socio-economic reality is also considered.
