The phenomenon of legal consciousness lagging behind modern social and philosophical reflection

The paper deals with the phenomenon of legal consciousness lagging behind the human reflection on the activities of modern society and state. The research demonstrates that in this case the reflection is mostly associated with the representation of one’s own “self-thinker” rather than objective existence. As a result, knowable pushes us into the sphere of thought lagging behind the being, including legal and informational being. Lagging behind, distancing the world of legal realities from the philosophical thinking development can be observed in all spheres of self-consciousness and morality. The paper concludes that when the legal consciousness lags behind the elements of national life, it, thereby, lags behind the reflection on it. The reason for legal consciousness lagging behind social reflection is that the idea is carried out faster than the legal forms of joint activity of people, forms of interpersonal communication built on trust, the spirit of understanding and mutual understanding of people. The research findings can be useful when developing courses in social philosophy, philosophy of law, theory of values.
