Phenomenological studies of Gustav Shpet: «Appearance and sense» in the context of the archives of the epoch

The article promotes the idea, that phenomenological problems formulated in “Appearance and Sense” (Moscow, 1914) by Gustav Shpet should be considered today in the context of «the archives of the epoch» that means taking into account the epistolary heritage, diary records of Shpet and the reviews of his work written at that time. This approach allows us to show the dependence of Shpet’s interpretation of the “Ideas I” of Husserl on methodological problems of the historical knowledge, which Shpet developed during his life.
