Phenomenology of cinema: visual turn and crisis of content

This author discusses the views of J. Baudrillard, H.U. Gumbrecht, I.V. Belenky and other philosophers and culture experts on the development of cinema in the context of cultural knowledge. The purpose of the study is the theoretical and practical consideration of the visual and subject content of films nowadays. The use of visual technologies in the production of cinema is considered, as well as the definition of the crisis state of this art form. An analysis of the ways of applying modern technologies in cinema is presented, as well as a brief overview of the concept of cinematic universe. The question of the crisis of cinema in its content is raised. The author allocates and confirms the role of modern special effects in cinema: various images in films can be considered a measure of cultural perception, they form a certain code that contains knowledge about the world and allow demonstrating the director's intention in the artistic world in a holistic form.
