Philosophy of history as philosophy of language: the understanding of history in the horizons of hermeneutical and analytic traditions

The article focuses on the issue of disciplinary status of the philosophy of history in the context of linguistic (narrative) “turn”. The author traces the dependence of linguistic (analytic) philosophy of history from basic presumptions of speculative metaphysical historiosofia and states the necessity to reconsider the philosophy of history as a discipline in the horizon of hermeneutic phenomenology.
