Philosophy of religion: on the question of the religious symbol

This article attempts to analyze the formation and development of philosophical studies of religious symbols. The objective principles of symbolization, semiotic similarities in different religious systems are revealed. The religious symbolism of numbers and colors in works of fiction was considered. It is concluded that the system of symbols is in constant development, the essence of signs is subject to unlimited semiosis.
