The philosophy of technology in the context of challenges of the complex world

The article considers the problems of classical philosophy of technology in the context of the “explosive" growth of technosphere in the age of convergent technologies development. The philosophy of technology applying the paradigm of simplification strives to address the questions posed by the latest technology and technological advancements. However, the framework of classical philosophy of technology has no means of comprehension of specific features of the technical sphere development. It requires a new understanding of the technology, the new context of statement of the outlined questions. Application of the autopoiesis concept presented in the works of H. Maturana and F. Varela along with the paradigm of complexity proposed by E. Morin may help to pave the way for the understanding of the current development stage of the technology.
