Philosophy of creativity and science: the facets of interaction

Research in the field of philosophy of creativity is not just interdisciplinary one, but has a multidisciplinary status: knowledge from almost any disciplinary field can be attracted to a more adequate and expanded understanding of the creative process. And since the philosophy of creativity is capable of acting as a sphere of applicability of joint efforts and as a zone of combining the interests of different disciplines, it can be considered as a kind of touchstone for identifying the effectiveness of developments not only in separated fields of science, but also the possibilities of their fruitful integration. Modern philosophy has developmental potential sufficient to help the researchers from other disciplines to look impartially at the methodological foundations of their approaches that underlie their work strategies. In particular, this makes it possible to assess the degree of realism of their forecast expectations in relation to their chosen ways of problem solving. The unrealistic character of the expectations that the identification of neurological correlates of different mental activity components will allow reconstructing the situation of the birth of consciousness is substantiated in the paper. Also it is shown why this state of affairs is impossible.
