The philosophical aspects of culture formalization in the information society

The article deals with the philosophical aspect of culture formalization. The levels of formalization varying according to the extent of its impact on the culture are considered. The authors discuss such philosophical problems related to the culture formalization as the autonomy and the relevance of consciousness. Special attention is given to the general cultural tendency of formalization that accompanies the processes of globalization. It is argued that the culture formalization increases the possibility of manipulation of society with the help of mass media.
