Philosophical analysis of contemporary eschatological conceptions

Eschatological problems, the concept of the downfall of history, require theoretical analysis and systematic philosophical reflection. The current state of society, for example, may be viewed as a global discourse or as continuing apocalypse; that is, the concepts of Eschatology, Apocalypse, Postapocalypticism, Millennium are simplified and used in a popular jargon, as a fashionable brand, or the end of the world-type game. Theologians and philosophers discuss the need to restore a genuine understanding of complex metaphysical concepts, like death and life, the end of the world, and the downfall of history.
