Philosophical and cultural reception of the value crisis of modern culture

The paper presents an analysis of the possibilities of identifying the value crisis of culture, taking into account the civilizational factor. The emphasis is placed on identifying some features of the objectification of the value crisis in philosophical and cultural studies. At the same time, the problem is considered taking into account the provisions formulated within the framework of the traditional paradigm of the civilizational approach, as well as in the context of the main results of the World Values Survey (1981-2020) and the conceptualization of spiritual security. It is established that the search for objective signs of the value crisis can be carried out through the “centralization” of values at the points of the conjugation of culture and civilization. This direction of research makes it possible to assess the state of the crisis of culture on the basis of the transformation of meanings and the significance of key values for the development of man and society. The main result of the study is an assessment of the experience of identifying the value crisis of modern culture from a philosophical and cultural perspective.
