The article analyses theoretical bases of effective application of the philosophical heritage of ancient Greece as a means of motivation for creative thinking in the learning process. The scientific relevance of the author's original approach is determined by the use of cognitive affective potential of the humor. Specific examples of the technology with particular examples are provided in the paper.
