Philosophical reflection on secular asceticism

The paper offers the concept of “secular asceticism”, related to the world coordinate system based on the utmost dynamic balances. Secular asceticism is a state of intellectual and spiritual activities of individuals in the context of their ethnic origin. In today’s global world, two major trends affect most cultures. On the one hand, all cultures strive for self-identification, meaning clear identification of its borders and features. On the other hand, they contribute to the integration of humankind. The confrontation of these trends has led to the diversification of cultures, which is a paradox against the background of increasingly interactive global economic and financial systems. Reliance on secular asceticism and its different variations allows modern cultures more to interact with each other smoothly and overcome the current cultural diversification.
