Financing of national projects: strategic priorities of the state in the foreseeable future

The article is devoted to the study of financing national projects. Knowledge of the priorities of the state’s domestic policy is important for every citizen, as it directly affects the life and well-being of the country’s population. Funds must be spent efficiently. That is why it is important to build people’s knowledge about how funds are spent on national projects, and to raise awareness about participation in determining spending directions, because the development of our country depends on it. In the article, the authors analyze the federal budget expenditures on financial support for the implementation of national projects and programs. The authors examine the planned amounts of financing and the actual budget funds used. A vertical analysis of federal budget expenditures on financial support for the implementation of national projects and programs in 2025-2027 has been carried out. The federal budget is the central element of the public finance system. Therefore, it is important to consider not only the financing of national projects, but also the execution of federal budget expenditures on national projects. This will allow us to evaluate the effectiveness of using funds allocated for financing national projects. Changes in the volume of funding for national projects are assessed, and the reasons for these changes are identified.
