Financial and economic aspect of innovative model of education development in the Russian Federation

The article analyzes the financing of education. With the gradual consolidation of the budget, the optimization of expenditures and the increase in their efficiency, a gradual reduction in the share of these expenditures is expected while stabilizing expenditures on education and health care. Expenditures of the federal budget for education are mainly a source of financing higher education, which corresponds to the division of powers between the Russian Federation and its subjects. At the same time, the federal center is gradually moving to the task of directions of the state educational policy in the regions of the Russian Federation.
