The experience of foreign countries has shown that to ensure the further development of renewable energy and increase the level of its competitiveness in comparison with traditional sources, government support is needed. The article analyzes the financial instruments of state support for the development of renewable energy sources in Russia and abroad, identifies promising directions and instruments of state support for "green" energy.
