Financial crises: causes

There are several points of view about the cause of the financial crisis, but each of them is argued by one reason. Some economists believe that the cause is international capital flows or monetary policies, others that the reason is housing policy, others that there was insufficient regulation of the banking sector, or the greed of those who functioned in the financial sector. In any case, these arguments, if used as the sole explanation, are too simplistic and incomplete. While all these factors undoubtedly serve as important causes of the crisis, each of them is not enough as an autonomous explanation.
