Cybersports is a unique mass product, whose development is characterized by rapid growth. For over a decade it won a multi-million audience, thus attracting attention of large investors. Money flows in the electronic sports are comparable with those in poker, or basketball, and such high financial opportunities simply could not help provoking the emergence of mass media in the market, which has become a key factor in the appearance of eSports journalism. This article allows us to consider the movement of money in the electronic sports industry and its impact on the formation of cybersports journalism.
