The article analyses communicative activities of the Finno- Ugric organizations and associations, and their interaction with etnojournalism. The materials of international and All-Russian forums, conferences, Finno-Ugric people's congresses, and scientific community symposia evidence the process of forming a new common information and cultural space. A particular interest of media to the social life of the Finno-Ugric peoples helps towards the expansion of this process.
