The subject of the research work was the study of free radical processes, the productivity of dairy products and the quality of milk in cows under stressful industrial conditions. The purpose of the work was to study the use in feeding of environmentally friendly plant compositions based on clover seeds, licorice and lecithin as phytoadaptogens for Holstein cows during the winter stall period, helping to optimize free radical processes, increase productivity and preserve the quality of milk. The influence of natural adaptogens on the milk productivity of cows was studied at JSC Potato Niva Orlovshchiny (2019-2020) and OJSC AIC Yunost, formed on the basis of JSC Potato Niva Orlovshchiny (2020-2021) during the winter stall period. Laboratory studies were carried out at the Department of Chemistry of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education Oryol State Agrarian University, in the Oryol branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Central Scientific and Methodological Veterinary Laboratory" and in the Innovative Research Testing Center of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education Oryol State Agrarian University in the period from 2019 to 2022 year. Disturbances were identified in the oxidant-antioxidant system of highly productive Holstein cows, which was manifested by an increase in free radical oxidation, determined by MDA indicators, and a decrease in antioxidant protection, determined by the activity of CP. To correct identified disorders in the oxidant-antioxidant system, increase milk productivity and improve milk quality, it was proposed to use phytoadaptogens based on licorice root (LR), clover seeds (SC) and lecithin (L) in feeding in addition to the main diet (BR) for 30 days. The results of using the proposed additives showed a positive effect on free radical processes, as evidenced by a decrease in the level of malondialdehyde, as an indicator of free radical oxidation, and an increase in the activity of the antioxidant ceruloplasmin. Experimental studies based on the obtained biochemical data confirm the possibility of using the proposed products (clover seeds at a dose of 70 g/bird/day, licorice root at a dose of 60 g/bird/day and lecithin at a dose of 70 g/bird/day) in for 30 days as environmentally friendly organic adaptogens for Holstein cows kept in industrial complexes.
