Phytoplankton in water bodies of the Pechora river delta and adjacent territories

The diversity of planktonic algae in 108 polytypic water objects of the Pechora river delta is studied. 567 species with varieties and forms, referring to 111 genera, 61 family and six divisions are revealed. The ecological and geographical analysis of algae has shown peculiarities of their distribution in connection with рН and water salinity. Phytoplankton composition in investigated water bodies characterizes them as freshwater with neutral and alkaline reaction of water condition.
