Optimization of treatment acute herpetic stomatitis in school children

Phytotherapy with harmala extract was carried out in 25 school-age children with acute herpetic stomatitis. The drug was used daily for 20 minutes in the form of a 10 % aqueosus solution for applications. More than 1/3 of the examined stated moderate and severe degrees of the disease. Judging by the clinical data, a 10% aqueous solution of harmala extract shows a pronounced anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and keratoplastic effect and can be used in the treatment of acute herpetic stomatitis in school children.
