Physical development of students of secondary professional education of medical university

The results of assessing the indicators of physical development of students of medical college of the Volgograd State Medical University in the dynamics of years of study are presented. Anthropometric and physiometric parameters were determined: height, body weight, muscle strength of the hands, vital capacity. Significant differences in the indicators of 1st and 3rd year students were revealed. For a more detailed elucidation of modern patterns of changes in the indicators of physical development of medical college students and the development of health-improving measures, it is necessary to study the way of life, first of all, the characteristics of nutrition and physical activity.
