Physiological features of platelets in the local newborn calves in the Kursk magnetic anomaly

Physiologically important component to maintain the homeostasis of the body of cattle is optimum functioning platelets. It is of great scientific and practical process of evaluation of platelet functional properties of the most numerous population of calves - crossbred animals of dairy breeds in the neonatal phase. The work on the 33 crossbred calves, obtained from healthy cows of black-motley, covered Holstein bull, after the normally proceeding pregnancy contained in the conditions of the Kursk magnetic anomaly. Neonates crossbred calves tended to weaken their functional properties in vitro and in vivo. Important mechanisms to ensure a tendency to a decrease in platelet aggregation activity in crossbred calves in the first 10 days of life in the Kursk magnetic anomaly, we can assume a tendency to weaken the endogenous metabolism of arachidonic acid in platelets and decrease in their content of adenosine triphosphate, adenosine diphosphate, actin and myosin.
