Fluidolites and other hydrothermalites of the torgashino carbonate formation of the Lower Cambrian (Eastern Sayans)

The hydrothermalites found within the Torgashino limestone deposit (the southern suburbs of Krasnoyarsk) in the process of open-cast mining up to the depth of 200m are described. The hydrothermalites are presented by ferriferous argillisites impregnating the whole limestone stratum, large-crystalline and druse-like calcite veins and calcite onyx among which some concretion-spherolite types identified before are found. Fluidolites are discovered in the Torgashino carbonate formation stratum and described for the first time. They represent the product of a special type - the solid/liquid endogenous transfer.
