Fluvoxamine (Fevarin R) in the treatment of depressive disorders in patients with chronic coronary artery disease

The article presents literary data concerning pathophysiological relevance between depressive disorders and ischemic coronary artery disease as well as efficacy and safety of using selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) in the treatment of depressive disorders in patients with chronic coronary artery disease. The study results necessitate the development of interdepartmental approach in treating such patients.
