The article discusses philosophical questions of anthropological and cultural autonomy of the legal consciousness in Russia. The authors argue that the barbaric moral system (human sacrifice, blood revenge) gradually softened in the history of Russia, at the same time the self-reliant legal consciousness was developing based on the religious belief. The Christian religion became the spiritual foundation of the culture. Religious autonomy transformed into the anthropological autonomy, which was reflected in the moral and legal consciousness. The authors believe that the heteronomous factors of the legal consciousness development were associated with the monologue in the culture, while the autonomous ones - with the cultural dialogue.
