Formation of family values by means of education and culture

The article summarizes the results of the Year of the Family, announced in 2024 by Decree of the President of the Russian Federation, from the perspective of analyzing the educational potential of education and culture. e formation of family values by means of culture is considered as a process in which the requirements of culture are interrelated, determining the essence of all educational practices, as well as the educational capabilities of cultural institutions of various types operating throughout our country. e article presents the "Concept of child personality development in the family: fundamentals of family education" developed by the Russian Academy of Education, which is the modern theoretical basis for the organization of family education. e article reveals the experience of all-Russian public organizations, cultural and educational institutions, including the Moscow State Institute of Culture in the development of modern theory and practice of family education.
