The analysis of the value structure of students of a military higher education institution has been carried out. The substantiation of the necessity of value orientations formation of future officers at the level of studying at a higher education institution has been presented. The activities promoting the increase of the efficiency of value orientations formation of military students in the course of their education in a military higher education institution have been considered.
