Development of public spirit qualities of the North Caucasus youth as a condition of regional security

Development of public spirit of young people in the conditions of intercultural North Caucasus is an urgent subject of regional social and political studies, both in theoretical and applied aspects. The article discusses the features and risks of development of civil qualities of the regional youth. The social research data describing the level of civic consciousness of students of the southern macro-region are reviewed.
