Formation of a digital personality in the context of education transformation: risks and prospects

The problems of digital transformation of society and digitalization of education are considered. Defi nitions of the concepts of “digitalization”, “digital socialization”, “digital culture”, “digital competence”, “personal security in the digital space” are presented. The characteristics of the digital personality, its capabilities and development risks are given, the mechanisms of the emergence of pathological conditions in the context of digitalization are considered. It is noted that the digital personality exists in the system of virtual communications and has a number of important constitutive features. A conclusion is made about the relevance of further study of the problems of forming a digital personality in the context of education transformation.
