Formation of digital competencies of employees as an element of improvement competitiveness of the company

In modern conditions, in order for the company not only to stay afloat, but also to develop successfully, it is required that its employees have an appropriate set of knowledge, skills and abilities. In other words, only the company whose employees have key competencies that meet the requirements of the time is competitive now. One of the key competencies today is those related to the ability to analyze large amounts of information in the context of digitalization. The article examines the issues of formation of the methodology of digital transformation of enterprises and the necessary digital skills, successful models of digital transformation of Russian enterprises, explores the relationship of digital competencies in the analysis and processing of information with the company’s digital security competencies. The article analyzes the best foreign practices that act as the foundations of the digital transformation system for domestic organizations, and also analyzes the regulatory framework for the implementation of the improvement of the digital economy management process in the Russian Federation. The conclusions substantiate the relationship between the digital competence of employees and the level of competitiveness of the company, and also indicate organizations that can offer high-quality additional professional education services necessary for professional development of employees of organizations and the effective process of digital transformation of the company.
