The nonlinear multidimensional regression and tensor model in justification (necessary and sufficient conditions) of optimum multiple-factor physical and chemical process of hardening of metal coatings is under construction and investigated. Robast-adaptive strategy of rational formation of target functional of physics-mechanical quality of metal working is offered. Results can become a methodological basis for creation of the automated design of technologies of hardening of surfaces of difficult composite hardware on the basis of complex the tribological tests.
