In article innovative business as the style of activity which is characterized by the orientation to creation or realization of innovations undertaken for achievement of positive economic or socially significant purposes” is considered”; the social-psychological predictors of the organization of successful innovative business activity in the conditions of the region (the small and average cities, agriculture) including two levels locate: the general, characteristic for most of successful domestic businessmen innovators (aspiration to achievement of financial success or other personally significant purposes by means of innovative activity, leader abilities, tendency to risk, a reflection, abilities of multiple planning of development of a situation, etc.) and special, characteristic more for innovative businessmen of the region (ethnocultural tolerance (that, is extremely important for the South Ural region differing in a multinationality); profound knowledge of historical traditions of the region, its modern situation, experience of innovative business activity on its territories, formation of information competence, frustratsionny tolerance, high level of an internalnost, dynamism, expressiveness of communicative qualities). Innovativeness of youth of the province, as important parameter of readiness for innovative business activity is investigated (on the example of Chelyabinsk region): research was conducted by Lebedeva’s technique - Tatarko, the level of innovativeness of students of higher education institutions of various specialties and the directions of preparation, seniors, students of SPO was compared. In article the reasons of decrease in motivational readiness of youth of the province for innovative business activity are analyzed.
