Development and reproduction of intellectual elite in Volgograd: inter-generational strategies and "horizontal" connections

The article deals with the comprehension of the concept “intellectual elite” in local regional aspect. There are revealed and analyzed the basic configurations and scenarios of the development of intellectual elite of the Volgograd urban community. There are formulated the key aspects of fulfilling such a social function by the regional professional cluster of philosophers and cilturologists. There are found out the problems of the reproduction of intellectual elite in the Volgograd region.
