Formation of D. Savonarola’s ideological views

This article analyzes the formation of D. Savonarola's ideological views. Based on the study of Savonarola's worldview, one can trace the influence he had on the political and religious thought of his contemporaries. The first sermons did not bring the monk the desired success. Savonarola still managed to conquer Florentine society, but the social and political state of Florence contributed to the development of Savonarola's preaching activities.
