Development of industrial type of maritime culture in the Kola North

In the framework of historical cultural studies the article considers one of the key stages of maritime culture development in the Kola North - transition from traditional to industrial development of maritime space in the second half of the XIX century. The author considers the changes of the maritime activities methods in material and practical, social and spiritual spheres: emergence of new types of ships and commercial enterprises, development of fishing industry and trade, establishment of a seaport, and scientific study of sea bio-resources.
