Formation of economic competence in students of general educational schools

The article deals with the formation of economic competence of students and states that one of the priority areas of modern education is the formation of the economic competence of the individual, which acts as one of the basic components of the student’s professional culture and ensures the adaptation and orientation of graduates in market conditions through the development of economic literacy and economic thinking, the formation of a holistic economic worldview.
