Formation of elements of the image of the future in pre-Peter Russia

This article attempts to analyze the category of antiquity and the idea of common cause in the perspective of the formation of the image of the future Russian state when passing from the Middle Ages to the early modern period. The author attempts to show their discursive nature for solving political problems. The relevance of this study is associated with special attention to the problem of forming an image of the future, highlighting this topic in the course of «Fundamentals of Russian Statehood».
