Formation of catholic problematics in the history of the church: from Kollyvades to eucharistic ecclesiology

Theology of history, in particular, is intended to reveal the historical tasks (including, and even above all, the tasks of a dogmatic nature) that the Church faces at one time or another in her life. The period of 18th - 19th centuries represents a transition from the historical perspective of community life of the Church to the problems of its Catholic scale. This time raises before the Church the ultimate and unprecedented questions about her own existence as a whole, about its internal structure and its relationship with the world. This article is devoted to the origin of these questions. The context of the Christlike sacrifice of the Church - the sacrifice of the Catholic whole, the sacrifice of the community and the sacrifice of the individual - is of particular importance for both their putting and their revelation. The participation in the Eucharistic Sacrifice of Christ on the part of the Church takes on special attention in the eyes of the theologians of this time; however, the conclusions from this premise are different.
