Competencies formation of specialists, which are working in the conditions of the digital economy based on big data

This article presents the theoretical foundations for using of big data in shaping business analyst competencies. The need for this research is called by widespread introduction of the digital economy. Data can be processed by various horizontally scalable information technologies, by being a multiple structured and unstructured data of huge volume. The problem is that most business analysts do not have these competencies.This article proposes classes of competencies, which are necessary for the use of end-to-end information technologies of the digital economy. The hypotheses for the formation of competencies are supported by multiple examples. In addition, the article raises the problem such as: complexity of describing and formalisation of big data for further use in automated complexes.
