Formation of a culture of personal safety as one of the key foundations of the professional competence of a young specialist of the internal affairs bodies

The paper considers the issue of personal safety and the safety of life similar to it and the formation of a culture of its observance becomes especially relevant in the context of growing crime and offenses. Every citizen, having rights, should be ready not only to protect his interests, but also to be responsible for ensuring the safety of both his own and others. In this context, the professional competence of employees of the internal affairs bodies is of paramount importance. The article argues that the effectiveness of law enforcement agencies depends on the integration of knowledge, skills and abilities that ensure not only the protection of law and order, but also the creation of a safe social environment. It is extremely important that young professionals develop not only professional preparedness, but also an internal safety culture that will allow them to act confidently and professionally in an unstable environment.
