Formation of personal qualities of adolescents in the system of additional education in the sphere of physical culture and sports

Th e article examines the actual problem of personal development of adolescents in the context of additional education focused on physical culture and sports. Th e research is based on an interdisciplinary approach combining pedagogical, psychological and socio-cultural aspects. Special att ention is paid to the potential of additional education as a tool for the formation of key personal qualities, motivation for a healthy lifestyle, and professional self-determination. Th e article analyzes the state policy in the fi eld of education, regulated by the Federal Law No. 273-FZ “On Education in the Russian Federation”, which emphasizes the importance of additional education in the adaptation of adolescents to society, their professional orientation and support for gift ed children. Within the framework of the physical culture and sports direction, pedagogical conditions are studied that contribute not only to physical development, but also to the formation of personal competencies. As a result of the conducted research, a model of adolescents’ personal development has been developed, including targeted, methodological and eff ective components. A multi-level football training program is off ered, diff erentiated by training stages (initial, basic, pre-professional) and diffi culty levels (leisure, cognitive, advanced). Using the methods of pedagogical experiment, expert assessments and mathematical statistics, the author confi rms the eff ectiveness of the proposed model.
