Formation of linguocultural competence among foreign students in Russian literature classes

The article is devoted to the analysis of the study of Russian literature for the formation of linguocultural competence among foreign students. The role of the teacher in getting to know Russian culture through literary texts is revealed. The tasks that a teacher faces when teaching works of Russian literature to foreign students are outlined. Recommendations are given for working with literary texts in literature classes for foreign audiences.
