The research problem and the rationale for its relevance. The digitalization of all spheres of society, including all levels of education, places increased demands on the level of digital competence of educators. However, it is argued that in media education, it is not enough to possess only technical skills, as the leading role in this process is played by the educator’s developed media culture. This allows them to become mentors and educators for students of all levels in the world of media space. This scientific article characterizes the substantive essence of the concept of “media culture,” its structural content, and the connection of this concept with media education. The systematic nature of activities aimed at developing the media culture of educators within the educational space of the school is defined. The goal of research. Justification of a system of activities aimed at developing the media culture of educators in an educational organization. Methodology (Materials and Methods). The methodological basis for the implementation of the theoretical research consists of the key tenets of the competence-based, axiological, and activity-based approaches. Analysis, synthesis, generalization, and systematization of scientific research on the problem under study were used as the leading research methods.
